Bread & Roses mission is to uplift the human spirit by providing free, live, high-quality entertainment to those who are institutionalized or isolated. Since it’s founding in 1974 they have produced over 10,000 performances for more than 300,000 indivi-duals of all ages and ethnic groups. Every year they produce more than 600 shows in 125 facilities. More than once a day, on average, a Bread & Roses show is creating hope, healing and joy somewhere in the SanFrancisco Bay Area...

I played for Bread and Roses a small gig in Novato, CA, at Jan 6th 2016, traveling from Los Angeles during heavy snow and rain storms, but made it in time, arrived a few minutes before the show should start, however, coming that late, you have to improvise as there is no time for any preparation, change cloth/dress up or cooling down from the devils ride through the night…
but that’s alright…
